As the year goes by, A Slasher Dating Simulator comes ever closer to being released! Our artist has drawn up a lovely Valentine's Day invitation to you from the slashers! ♡

Demo news!

Love is in the air! Our handsome selection of slashers are so eager to meet their new date... But who will be the lucky one to meet you first?
We have chosen which character will be available for the demo (mind that it is only a section of their route, so you'll have to wait until the full release to complete it!)

The current planned demo release date is April 2022, so mark your calendars! 

We also still have more writer positions available, so if you are interested in writing for one of these slashers or some of the other 6 DLC characters (not pictured) then send a DM to @SlasherSim on Twitter. Same goes for any musicians!

Now for some boring technical background updates...

• Minigames are on our to-do list to enrich your experience with A Slasher Dating Simulator!
• We've revamped some of the sprites and have been making lots more optional/custom sprites you can use for each slasher. You will be able to unlock while playing, along with there being options immediately available.
• we have found a very minor visual glitch with our buttons. We also have a solution to fix it, however it comes at a cost of replacing it with a more boring animation and less satisfying "mouse quickly gliding over knife buttons" feel. My current plan is to just ignore it, and if you guys think it's bad, then we will update it with the other code...
• a list for the DLC characters have been almost completely planned, however when the time comes, we will be doing a public vote, keep your eyes peeled for that.
• I'm so glad to say that the custom cursor code has been fully completed and works like a charm despite Renpy's stubbornness with them...
