As i've discovered and learnt more of Ren'Py, time comes to update the old screens.

The new screens all have a looping video background and fancy new animated buttons! I feel a bit sad replacing the old ones, particularly the screen where you select your slasher:

I thought this old screen was cool, but it definitely won't make the final launch so ill post it here for archiving sake. It shows the actual locations of where their movies were taken place (with exception of Pinhead, since that was set in London, or another place outside of America iirc...)  Not that it matters, but it also shows the old Bubba and Freddy sprites.

Anyways, i just thought having it displayed like this is neat to look at, but it has now been changed to something that seems neater. As with the old screen, Harry's button was easy to miss, and since we've now planned to add more slashers post launch, it could look very cluttered and messy.... Along with the possibility that 2 or more character could be in the same state.

My next plan is to completely revamp the player 'customisation' screen. Right now, choosing your player vessel, sex and name are all in separate parts. i want to combine them into one screen + with a confirmation button so you don't risk accidentally choosing the wrong sex or body etc.

And yes, you can choose to have a feminine/masculine/androgynous look while also customising what your sex is, so now you can have an accurate experience in bed with your favourite slasher! Not to worry about pronouns though, everything that is directed to the player will be neutral (mainly for coding reasons, otherwise i would have liked to add a custom pronoun feature)

I would have also liked to make a completely customisable character like in Dream Daddy, however, that will be a problem with the art in special scenes where it includes what your character looks like. It would be too much work for the only artist on the team!
