not sure who will read this, but i just wanted to say this game made me feel genuinely so nice and cozy. I started playing it just for funsies, but ended up on the edge of my seat to see what was going to happen next. After many giggles, freak outs (the good kind) and a LOT of laughter after getting a bad answer, I was caught by surprised that this was just a demo (my dumbass didn't notice it was literally written on the page). I hope this game can fully launch one day and i would really pay any amount to play it.
Okay, so I gave this a try and I just want to ask one thing: Are you aware of the comic which is set in a universe where Jason is a Camp Counsellor? Because your Jason in this is EXACTLY the same, down to the same adorable nature. Honestly, I love the design of this, from the big things like unique character appearances (you don't just dump us in text and say "Imagine it's you") to the little bloody knife as a cursor. I really look forward to the rest of this, mostly cos I'm the kinda guy who looks at a horror movie slasher/monster and thinks "Ey.... That's pretty good." XD
Of the slashers, I'm mostly here for Jason, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. ^^
Ahh wonderful Idea. really love Myers can’t wait to read his route. A very amazing idea Demo version easy to understand and Keeps the tension , it’s a pity that there is no Android version.. Because it’s a game you would like to play yourself and nobody should see it behind your back ( with this large screen from laptop)😂

hey i was hoping to play this demo on stream, but i was wondering how nsfw it gets, please? gore etc is fine, just dont wanna be caught out with nudity on stream oop. excited to play it regardless, ive been wait for a good quality slasher dating sim yessss
From what i've seen, the demo doesn't show anything nsfw and the scenes where something "gore" happens doesn't show anything graphic, only text. I think it's okay to play it on stream, for now, atleast.
I honestly loved playing this demo. The story progression and everything was wonderful. I'm not sure if you are taking character suggestions but maybe adding smaller known characters like Billy Lenz and Brahms heelshire would be cool since nobody really does anything with them. Everything is super cool tho, keep up the great work

There's only so much I can reveal in an hour of gameplay without it feeling too rushed ^^'. Jason's route might have ended up being one of the tamest routes we have planned, which imo makes sense to keep his content fairly "normal"; He's one of the most popular gateway slashers. On the opposite spectrum we have two whole ass demons; one that manipulates your dreams and another that takes you to a world of pain and suffering (and pleasure) They're not going to be for everyone.
(DEMO SPOILERS AHEAD) There are endings in the demo where Jason kills you (and there will be plenty more deaths ahead) so I hope that satisfies your needs for the time being!
I tried my best to make the player options as ambiguous looking as possible for POC and white players. Even with the mid/dark skin tone, it's much harder than it looks to make a single character be "neutral". If I were to add specific race options it would increase the art workload by an insane amount when considering CGI. (There is only 1 artist, which is myself)
If you have any suggestions to make the player sprites look more ambiguous, I am all ears since I plan on touching them up soon!
for the diversity maybe add like wavy/curly hair and the inner monologue saying more than just 'blush' whenever 'we' feel flushed/embarrassed/flirty. Curls are a feature in every identity and for dark skin wouldn't it be pointless for it to be mentioned in descriptive scenes?
Your other responses though about the plot? Oohh im invested you said there's a spectrum like are certains characters going to be sweet then some a barbarian/closer to themselves on screen?
I was considering PH as DLC but I would rather respect the wishes of Masahiro Ito and not include PH in any media that doesn't involve James, unlike what the SH creators did. I look up to this artist, so I'm sorry if my decision is disappointing for fans.
Well, why wouldn't James be able to be included in the Story? :) I mean PH basically hunts him for punishment, it can also be used as plot. But I respect the decision even if I'm disappointed with it.

I know that kind of content is a little rampant in the community and I'd really like to avoid it (And I'm sure others do too) .
hi i just tried this game and the only thing that i would say is to maybe change the volume of the knive icons a little bit down, theyre a little bit more loud that the music itself and it kinda scared me, im used to use only the 10% volume of mi pc so the sound of the knive was the first thing that i recognised as "loud", apart from that i love the little chapter with jason, the art is beautiful, also a thing that i notice was that the game doesnt have a section of the special images to see them again, like an album, im not fluent in english so idk the name but apart from that i hope this game is a success because ill be waiting for the updates and the final game, also plz add ghost face or piramid head if it counts as slasher xd
The startling volume of the knives might be intentional. (Since the subject is horror and all.) But there are individual settings in the options menu, where you can adjust the volume of the SFX and music individually, even turning one or both off if you wish! :)
Thank you for the suggestion! I will work on more sound mixing, but in the meantime, it is possible to control individual sound elements through settings.
I think including a CGI section is a great idea, I will see what I can do about that.
